Happy New Year!!!!

 

We wanted to start the new year with a splash of color.....

If you have not seen Susan Hanson's art work.....you are missing out!  Susan's art spans from transitional to abstract.  She uses eye popping color to create whimsy or to set a mood.  Susan is a local Texas artist and would love to create custom artwork especially for you.  We also have numerous pieces in stock at the Gallery.

 

 

 

WAVE THIRTEEN

A lot has happened since our last post. Art shows, funraiser for Susan G. Komen and the aquiring of several new artists. The photos below are from a new artist we have found by the name of John Baughman. John's work is a reflection of nature in a uniquely abstract way. His work is a combination of complex layers and veils of sophisticated color. You will find John's artwork on the sets of many television shows, commercials and movies.

WAVE TWELVE

"SMOKIN' HOT MODERN ART"

What a great IFDA meeting we had at the gallery last Thursday.  Renowned artist, Deanna Kienast, spoke about her fabulous abstract art and specifically, commissioning art.  She stressed, "do not be afraid to commission a piece of art" and "think about starting your design plan with art"!  A good time was had by all.....especially Baker Design Group who won a framed Deanna original.

Check out our new artwork by Melissa McKean.  She is super talented and her soft contemporary look is strikingly elegant.

WAVE TEN

Just received wonderful new pieces of ceramic art from Joni Beamish.  Her large pieces are great for niches, accessorizing and food service.  The small pieces are beautiful but also oven, microwave and dishwasher safe.  She fires her pieces up to 2200 degrees, so a little oven heat is not going to hurt a bit.  We are taking custom orders and have quite a few pieces in stock here in the gallery.  Impress your friends with a great platter or punch bowl or lasagna dish or.......the list goes on and on!

WAVE NINE

Well Hello!!!!  It's been a bit since we have written.....we are back!  So much has happened.  Quite a few new artist have joined the gallery.  We have Joni Beamish with her spectacular pottery, the infamous George Jones painting (florals/women with wine/abstracts/chefs), Susan Hanson bringing in abstracts/figures in very bright vivid colors and Brent Foreman with his flair for the abstract.  Please stop by to see all of our amazing artist, new and existing.  The gallery is full of great one of a kind pieces in all genres and mediums.

It's almost Spring!!!! Wow, sunshine and warmth are on their way!

The trend for Spring 2011 is color...color...color.

Bright vibrant hues can be mixed into a neutral palette by adding new art and accessories. Use bold colors, patterns & prints, metallic accents and vintage accessories to create an eclectic chic look.
