La Montage interjects a fresh face into the realm of contemporary art, Julie Farley, also known as "Julz". Her art features bold and vivid colors closely akin to a modern day version of French Impressionist Claude Monet's works and especially, a highly abstract take on Monet's well-known oil series, The Water Lilies. Julie mixes various types of acids and chemicals in a comprehensive layering process which result in dramatic splashes of lucid tints and undertones.
The color scheme of Julie's art takes use of vivid copper, ocean-themed blues, sharp turquoise, varying shades of bronze, fiery coral, melon red, bold lime, and dark green earth tones! Julie keeps a record of each chemical formula she creates for each sample board so that you can mix colors and designs to create a custom piece of art for your home or business.
Each sample board featured in the La Montage showroom can be painted to scale per request of sizing preferences based on your art space needs. The combined result of each original piece entices the mind's eye to create for itself an interpretation which evokes tranquility and repose.
